Kathleen Rossini has been a Registered Physiotherapist in good standing since 2001. She has years of experience treating a variety of orthopaedic conditions and has completed many post graduate courses related to this area of practice. Kathleen completed her training in complete decongestive therapy and lymphedema management with the Dr. Vodder School International in 2013. In addition to her lymphedema training, Kathleen has completed courses in patient education and teaching, foundations in oncology, oncology rehabilitation, lymphatic taping and exercise for cancer survivors. Kathleen previously developed and taught a lymphedema education program as part of a pilot project for the Regional Cancer Centre. She has done presentations on the topic of lymphedema or exercise for various groups. In addition to her work at InFocus Rehabiliation, Kathleen also works part time on the inpatient oncology and palliative unit at Credit Valley Hospital.
Colleen is a Registered Physiotherapist and has completed her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy at McMaster University and received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo. Colleen enjoys working in the field of Neurological Rehabilitation and has taken post graduate training in NDT for management of adults with stroke, brain injury and other Neuromotor disorders. In addition, Colleen has also completed post graduate training in the managment of Parkinson's Disease. Colleen is a certified Shift Concussion Management Provider and has completed training in Vestibular Rehabilitation. Colleen also has experience treating orthopedic conditions and has completed many post graduate courses related to this area of practice.
Renate Van Leeuwen
Renate is a Registered Physiotherapist with 20 years of experience in both hospital and community settings. She is NDT certified and has taken advanced gait training courses. Her area of expertise is neurological rehabilitation and she has worked extensively with clients dealing with stroke, MS, Parkinson's disease and other neurological conditions. Renate is also in the process of becoming an ADP authorizer for assistive mobility devices.
Natasha earned her Physical Therapy Degree from Guru Nanak Dev University in India. After graduating Natasha practiced for three years in the field of Orthopaedics with an Orthopaedic surgeon doing pre and post-operative physical therapy treatments. Natasha completed a Program of Fellowship in Orthopaedic Rehabilitation and advanced her training through manual therapy courses. Natasha is a Registered Physiotherapist in Canada and has completed courses in KT taping, acupuncture, cupping and gua sha from APTEI. In her free time Natasha enjoys reading and painting.
Marisa Martin is a Registered Massage Therapist and Certified Acupunturist. Her clinical areas of interest include sports injuries, TMJ, sprains/strains, back pain, headaches and neck pain. When she is not working, Marisa enjoys outdoor activities like cycling, golfing and cross-country skiing.
Leanne Burke completed a four year Bachelor of Arts Degree with Honours at the University of Waterloo in Recreation and Leisure Studies - Gerontology Minor. She then went on to Humber College and completed the Physiotherapist Assistant Program with Honours. In the past ten years, She has become especially interested in the administrative, human resource and management side of privately owned businesses. Leanne is well versed in dealing with WSIB, MVA and private health care claims and processing.
Khadine joins the InFocus team with a background in pensions and business management. After her management days, a love for training and mentoring, led her to work with children, assessing their cognitive and academic needs, helping them realize their true potential. She also brings extensive customer service skills along with her love for helping people; just like the rest of the InFocus team.
